The AVA Philosophy

I believe that at its core emotional wellness therapy is a process defined by:

  • Recognizing the aspects of your life  that you would like to be different and establishing a plan of action to help you restore your AUTHENTIC self.
  • Supporting the execution of your plan to help you live a happier, more fulfilling, more VITAL life.
  • Developing the skills and techniques you need to ADAPT to obstacles in the future.

Authenticity. Vitality. Adaptability.

As you can see, AVA is more than just a name. It comprises the core of my counseling philosophy and represents three of the fundamental principles that I believe guide a successful counseling experience.  I’ve started AVA Counseling because I would like to help you on your therapeutic journey towards a better life.
