About Kelly Hutcheson

ACA logoKelly Hutcheson is a licensed professional counselor supervisor (LPC-S), a nationally certified counselor (NCC), and a member of the AmericanCounseling Association (ACA).  Kelly graduated from Missouri State University with a degree in Psychology and earned her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.

She has previously worked at The Family Place as a facilitator of the DISD bullying intervention initiative (Bullyproof) and as a counselor for children and adults in both individual and group settings.  Following this experience, Kelly worked as a Lifesynch Clinical Advocate for Humana where she provided case management and crisis intervention services.

Kelly has also worked as a counselor in the Employee Assistance Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center.  In this capacity she  provided individual, couples, and group therapy to employees and their families for a diverse range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, workplace stress, and mindfulness.  In addition, during her time at UT Southwestern Kelly spearheaded an initiative to address workplace bullying issues and has been invited to speak at several local and state-wide conferences on the issue.
